Las Dalias Ibiza celebrates its Family Day 2026: A tribute to the land, the community and more than 40 years of the market

This Thursday, 5 November, Las Dalias Ibiza is hosting another edition of its traditional
Family Day, an event that brings together craftspeople, stallholders, musicians, partners and
staff to mark the end of the season together and, above all, to express their gratitude for another year
spent together.
The celebration continues to honour a history spanning more than 40 years of the market,
built up generation after generation. Since its beginnings in 1954, Las Dalias has grown
to become a cultural icon of Ibiza, whilst always maintaining its essence:
craftsmanship, creativity, music, community and its connection to the island.
The day will begin with the traditional Pago a la Tierra, led by María Valdivia, a
moment of gratitude to Pachamama and a tribute to all those who have
been part of Las Dalias’ history.
Afterwards, the community will share a family-style barbecue, followed by the presentation of
awards to the season’s most-voted-for stalls. Music and humour will take
centre stage with a Karaoke Battle, as well as a special tribute and other surprises.
Family Day is, in short, a celebration of what Las Dalias has been and what
it continues to be: a family that grows, changes and renews itself without losing its roots. A place
that has transcended the island and whose spirit now travels the world, yet whose heart remains
in Ibiza.
Over 40 years of the market – a living history, a family that grows and endures.
Las Dalias belongs to those who bring it to life. We would like to thank each and every one of them, once
again this year, for their presence, their dedication and the affection with which they help this family to grow.
