The best playgrounds in Ibiza by municipality

In Ibiza, family days aren’t lived only at the beach.
The island is full of playgrounds —both outdoor and indoor— where little ones can play, make new friends, and burn off energy while adults enjoy a quiet break.
Eivissa: fun for every child

The island’s capital is home to the largest number of playgrounds —more than 25! One of the most popular is Parc de s’Illa, in Can Misses, with more than 3,500 m² designed with the participation of children from local schools. It includes zip lines, climbing areas, a bike circuit, and rest zones.
On Paseo Juan Carlos I, next to Marina Botafoch, there is a recently renovated playground with slides and walkways —perfect for younger children. In the town centre, Parque de la Paz and Plaza del Parque (Sargantana) remain two well-loved classics.
In Figueretes, the playgrounds on Avenida de Sant Jordi and Paseo de ses Pitiüses stand out, offering sea views and family-friendly spaces.

Santa Eulària: nature and adventure

The municipality of Santa Eulària des Riu combines sea, nature, and family leisure. Its largest playground, Es Fameliar in Can Sansó, offers adapted swings, picnic areas, and a skating zone. Near the marina, the Santa Eulària Children’s Park is the perfect stop after a seaside stroll.
In Es Canar, the playground includes multiple themed areas: a little house with a piano, a boat-shaped slide, a train-themed slide, and access points with diagonal wooden ladders or ropes. It also has two swings: a traditional one and a basket-style spider-web swing.
This area also features a multi-purpose court with goals and basketball hoops, artificial grass, and fenced boundaries. With natural shade from pine trees, benches, picnic tables, and adapted restrooms, it’s an ideal space for spending the afternoon —or even organising a birthday party.
A separate, secure entrance leads to a dog park within the same complex.
Sant Antoni: playgrounds by the sea

Sant Antoni de Portmany offers several playgrounds along its iconic seafront promenade. In the fountains area, children can enjoy shaded swings and climbing structures. In the bay, the Avenida de Sant Agustí playground includes a mini zipline and a skating area, ideal for older kids.
On the opposite end, Sa Punta des Molí features soft-floor play areas, shade and a small basketball court.
Finally, Can Coix stands out for its bold personality —a modern playground designed for children who love climbing, hanging, and exploring. Its metal structures encourage different types of movement, including “dead-hand” bar challenges, and it includes a futuristic-style slide.
There is also a traditional area with two swings and a multi-slide structure: two small slides for younger kids and a larger double slide. The vertical metal ladder, the wider stair access, and a rock-wall style bridge ensure fun for all levels. The playground also includes several seesaws.
Shaded year-round and with newly renovated flooring (April 2025), it also has plenty of public parking and is close to the sports complex café.
Sant Josep de sa Talaia: spacious, modern, and full of life

One of the most notable playgrounds is Can Raspalls, a large complex divided into three areas: playground, sports courts, and an outdoor gym. The children’s area is fenced and equipped with traditional and basket swings, seesaws, small houses with slides, and rope-climbing structures. The rubberised cork flooring is in excellent condition.
In Sant Agustí, the local playground offers a quieter, nature-surrounded environment with wooden structures. It features two separate areas: an upper level with swings, a double seesaw, a house with a slide and a ping-pong table, and a lower level with a more challenging climbing frame. There is natural shade, picnic tables, mixed flooring, and easy parking nearby.
Families looking for activity will enjoy the Can Burgos Circuit, designed with bumps and jumps for bikes or scooters, benches to rest, and easy access from the nearby Mercadona.
Sant Joan de Labritja: rural charm and peaceful play

In the centre of Sant Llorenç, the playground is small but complete: individual and double seesaws, traditional swings, a balance beam, and a slide accessed by a steep rope ladder. The entire area is fenced, with rubber cork flooring, easy access, and a picnic table —perfect for relaxing or having a snack outdoors.
In Sant Miquel, the Sant Miquel de Balansat playground offers swings, seesaws, a tower with two slides, balance walkways, and cushioned flooring. It is fully fenced and close to shops, restaurants and free parking, as well as the large town square where children often gather to play.
Nearby, the Sant Miquel Port Playground is especially magical thanks to its setting among ancient juniper trees. The fenced zone includes a detailed wooden ship, swings, and a four-seat seesaw. It has restrooms —a rarity in Ibiza— plus picnic tables, natural shade, easy parking and the beach just steps away.
