Cala Llenya

Cala Llenya is located at 10 km away from Santa Eulalia, between Cala Nova and Punta d’en Ribes.To get there you have to take the road that is just behind the church of Sant Carles and then some 2 km later, turn to the right and you will see the road that leads to Cala Llenya.
This U-shaped cove ends when landing in a triangular slope of golden fine-grained sand. On the back side you will find a beatifica pine forest, the dry Torrent d’es Coix and a path, a bit hidden by the vegetation that leads to the nearby Cala Nova.?This sandy area of clean waters has a mid slope (at 15 metres away from the shore there is only one metre deep). It is oriented to the East and is open to the strong wind that comes from this direction which usually blows from the sea to the coast, so big surge is formed. This wind peculiarities cause to take all the possible precautions when you want to swim or anchor a boat over its sandy marine ground.??Road access is simple following the road signs. The private vehicle can be parked free of charge in the surroundings. It can also be reached using public transport, whose nearest bus stop is located at just 100 metres away.
