Es Cavallet

Es Cavallet is located at 10 km from the centre of Eivissa, between Punta de sa Torre (separates Eivissa from Formentera) and Sal Rossa and very close to ses Salines. Road access is simple following the signs and detours. The last stretch is done by an unpaved track.  The private vehicle can be parked free of charge in the surroundings. It can also be accessed by bike or by bus, which bus stop is at 7 hectometres away. This beautiful and almost virgin coastal corner is characterized by its big size, fine-grained white sand, East orientation and gently wind. This stunning spot is located on the back of the saline ponds, you will see planes flying back and forth from the island. Travel by car is wonderful because you will be able to see ponds in either direction with different shades of blue and green waters. This beach has been officially declared as a nudist beach and is the gay beach quintessentially which provides it with a young and distended environment. The marine and underwater conditions are suitable for anchoring boats when the weather is good. The navigator should be extremely careful when approaching the coastline since there are some submerged rocks. The best place to anchor is on the north of the beach, over a ground of sand with a depth of five metres. It is a very good option for young people.
