Cala Pada
Santa Eulària des Riu

Cala Pada

Cala Pada is located at 3.2 km from Santa Eulalia, between es Niu Blau-s’Estanyol and Marcús-Cala s’Argamassa. If you follow the Santa Eulalia road for some 3 km you will see the entrance to Cala Pada. This U-shaped quiet and comfortable sea inlet has a mid size and white fine-grained sand, a gentle slope (at 35 metres from the shore there is only two metres deep) and a breakwater that divides the beach into two parts and is used as a jetty. This sandy area with clear water is open to the wind from the South-Southeast and receives this quite moderate wind. The sand occupies most of the ground of this sea inlet while the rocks appear in the margins of this bay, where the practice of diving on surface is recommended. These natural features turn this quiet coastal spot into a great and safe beach for families with children. Road access is simple following the road signs. The private vehicle can be parked free of charge in the surroundings. It can also be reached by bike (short distance and few slopes) or by public transport whose nearest bus stop is located at just 300 metres away.
