Santa Eulària des Riu

The Town
The town is located on the left side of the river of Santa Eulària and from the river mouth you can view the hill crowned by the Puig de Missa, the emblematic architectural complex 52 meters above the sea level, which takes its name from the 16th century fortified church that watches over the city. Continuing down the hill there is the Ethnographic Museum.

The River
Through Santa Eulària, the county town of the municipality, flows the only river of the island of Ibiza and the Balearic Islands. Historically, the river water was used to irrigate large extensions of land known as “Horta de Santa Eulària”. The flour mills (at the bottom of Puig de Missa) were of vital importance in the 18th century and were also powered by the river water.

Promenade
Santa Eulària, a town next to the sea and surrounded by more than 2 kms of promenade.

The town of Santa Eulària is completely oriented to the sea. A broad promenade, ideal to walk and enjoy the shops, bars and restaurants goes along the rivermouth past Santa Eulària beach, from where you can view the Puig de Missa, along the Sports Marina and all the way to the Congress Centre of Ibiza.

Sports Marina
The Sports Marina of Santa Eulària offers you a complete variety of services to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
It’s a great safe-haven and is only 5 minutes away from the town centre of Santa Eulària and 15 km away from Ibiza city. It has 755 moorings for boats between 6 and 22 meters.
To enjoy your leisure time, the sports marina offers a complete shopping centre with an extensive variety of services (restaurants, bars, cafes, shops, and a wide range of nautical services, etc.).
