Cala Tarida is located at 6 km from San Josep de sa Talaia. Take the Sant Josep road towards Sant Antoni for about 1 km and then take the road to the left. At the first roundabout you come to, follow straight ahead until you come to another roundabout. Turn right here and after about 500 metres you will come to Cala Tarida. Road access is simple following the signs and detours. The private vehicle can be parked with no problems. It can also be reached using public transport, whose nearest bus stop is located just so close from the cove. This famous and wonderful cove is located between the coves of Corral and Molí, is characterized by its huge size, fine-grained sand slope and high-medium cliffs on the sides, sandy ground, except on the left side where there are some rocks (caution for boats) and very gentle slope. This beach has two small islands linked on the shore by a sandy stretch that make it very characteristic. The birds that are in this coast area use them as jetty. This natural bay has several beaches in it and marine and underwater conditions optimal for anchoring a boat. Navigators are recommended to anchor at about 300 metres from the shore, over a sandy ground, with a depth ranging from 4 to 8 metres. It is an excellent beach to come with the family or elderly people because its big size and offers all the services as restaurants, WC or showers.
