The classic Café Montesol, overlooking the popular Vara del Rey, is a unique dining space where the island’s locals and visitors converge.
The Mediterranean-style Café Montesol offers friendly, uninterrupted service throughout the day, with an excellent selection of Spanish tapas, elaborate dishes prepared with the finest local ingredients, and a full cocktail menu.
Located in the historic quarter, the Café features different spaces where diners can enjoy the cuisine, as well as a programme of exclusive events. Its prime location, 20 metres from the port, has welcomed residents and travellers for generations.
Throughout the years, the Café Montesol has served as a meeting place for writers, musicians, artists, and thinkers. The likes of Orson Welles, Pink Floyd, and Grace Kelly have passed through its doors and enjoyed its famous terrace.
The Café Montesol continues to be a fundamental enclave in the social and cultural life of the island—a new beginning that preserves the café’s heritage and an approach that will continue to write the story of Ibiza.
Our work is focused on making Fomento del Turismo de Ibiza an increasingly open forum for debate that draws together a wide range of interests, agrees strategies and stimulates professionals, workers, companies and organisations from all the island's economic and social spheres to benefit from membership.
We want Fomento de Ibiza to be an open forum for debate, one that agglutinates common interests, reaches a consensus as to the strategies that should be followed, and encourages professionals, workers, companies and entities from all the island’s economic and social walks of life to work together
Fomento del Turismo de la Isla de Ibiza (Island of Ibiza Tourism Development) is an association founded by a group of forward-looking people who set themselves the task of stimulating, promoting and developing the island's budding tourist industry.
