Caló de s´Alga

Es Recó de s’Alga is located less than a kilometre from Santa Eulalia; therefore the access to this cove is quite simple either by car, walking from the town, sailing or by public transport which nearest bus stop is at 600 metres away from the beach. It is located between Punta de s’Aguait and Punta des Nedador, very close from the housing development Siesta, so it is also known with this name (Spanish word for nap).

It has white and toasted fine-grained sand as well as good facilities for visitors who frequent it; is quiet, familiar and small-sized, also characterized by its crescent-shape. The left side is used as jetty and sun deck, while the right side shelters this coastline stretch against the surge and serves also as sea access for visitors who run away from the sand. Caló de s´Alga, is oriented to the North-West.

Therefore, it receives low to medium winds of South-Southeast component. The sand and some underwater vegetation form the seabed of es Recó de s’Alga.
