Ibiza Medieval 2023 Summary

| Fomento | News

The 24th edition of Medieval Ibiza took place from Thursday 11 May to Sunday 14 May. Over the course of these days, the streets of Dalt Vila broke attendance records with an estimated 180,000 visitors, according to data from the Town Hall.

The hustle and bustle was maintained in the streets throughout the days despite the poor weather forecast. Another record that was broken this year was the number of stalls, with 170 stalls distributed in 10 areas, divided between the inside and outside of the walls. In addition, this year's Medieval Ibiza brought with it new features, such as the "Passeig de les Bruixes", where shows were held, an expansion of stalls in Vara de Rey, and various concerts.

Apart from the novelties, there were also the traditional stalls, for example: bracelets, rings and necklaces, all of them handmade; the typical stalls selling roasts, chips and other types of food.

Outside the wall there was a large number of stalls such as the "pageses" of "espardenyes", traditional island liquor stalls, and other types of stalls. We conclude that this was a great edition of the Medieval in all aspects, and we hope you enjoyed it.
