Playa d´en Xinxó

Punta Xinxó is located at 12 km from San Josep de sa Talaia. Road access is simple following the signs and detours. This coastline stretch can also be reached using public transport, there is a bus stop in the vicinity. This cove is located between Punta de Pinet and Caló de s’Oli, as well as in front of San Antonio yacht club (these maritime facilities are provided with repair and fuel service), located at 6 km away. The coast has more than 170 metres that include the rocky headland with the same name; currently known as Platja d’en Xinxó, although in past years it was called Cala Bou, the name which is now used to designate the urbanized area located in the south of the bay. This semi-urban beach is the result of a U-shaped sea inlet opened to San Antonio's coastline. With a sand slope it is provided with clean and calm water, facts that make this cove a place recommended for diving. Resort and residential housing reach the beach and take the back side of the it. It is quite a touristic beach with high levels of occupation due to its easy access from San Antonio.
