David Gibert was born into a family of jewellers and decided to focus his career on studying the practice of making traditional Ibizan jewellery. To do so, he moved to Córdoba, where the main Spanish gold and silversmiths are based, to specialise in the craftsmanship of Ibizan jewellery. After his training, he opened his atelier in Ibiza where he now creates both traditional jewellery as well as pieces of his own design, being one of the few remaining craftsmen to preserve this legacy.

Gibert’s creations are a blend of traditional Ibizan artistic elements with touches of avant-garde design, thereby crafting elegant pieces which are easily combined for every-day wear.

True to the spirit of the parameters of Ad-lib fashion, he fuses traditional jewellery with new tendencies, thus creating a genuinely Ibizan concept.
