Es Torrent

"Es Torrent is at 7 km away from San Josep de sa Talaia, between Cap Negret, Platja de les Ovelles and Punta de ses Illetes. Road access is simple following the signs and detours. The last 2 km will be performed through a stairway which saves the way from a huge slope.

These stairs are not suitable for disabled and elderly people. The private vehicle can be parked free of charge in the surroundings. This quiet beach is characterized by having big size, rocky slope, grave, boulders and sand, very steep slope as well as by being wrapped by abrupt, ochre and toasted cliffs. The depth of the water and the strength of the tide make this coastal spot dangerous for swimming. From this stretch of coast it is possible to see a set of small islands known as ses Illetes. Punta de ses Illetes is the only place suitable for anchoring boats. It is only exposed to South-West wind, turning it into optimal fishing-ground to spend the night. It is provided with a sandy ground and a depth ranging from three to five metres."
