Cala Codolar

Es Codolar, beach that includes Pont de Baix and Estanys des Codols (East area, close to ses Salines wetland), is at 10 km from Eivissa city, located between sa Caleta and Cap des Falcó, very close to Eivissa airport. Take the road from Sant Josep to Sant Antoni for some 300 metres and on your left you will see a road that will take you to Platges de Comte and Cala Bassa. Follow this road for approximately 2km and you will see another road off to the left which leads to Cala de Codolar.Access by car is easy following the signs and detours. The last stretch of the route will be done by an unpaved track. The private vehicle can be parked free of charge in the surroundings. Kilometres length cove with boulders and gentle slope and breeze, sparse vegetations and constant noise from the planes that land and depart from the nearby airport. This fact explains that it is not usually crowded of swimmers and that people practice nudist, although it is not officially declared. The marine and underwater conditions are suitable for anchoring boats with a depth ranging from 5 to 10 metres, over a ground of sand in the centre and stone bed on the sides. The right side is a good area for diving.
