Sant Francesc de s`Estany

This small church, almost a hermitage, is located next to Ses Salines ponds, which were already used by the Phoenicians and still work nowadays. The church aimed at offering religious services to people working in the ponds so that they did not have to travel for a long time. There many routes the visitor can walk bordering the ponds and up to the beaches of Es Cavallet, ses Salines and Cap des Falcó, from where you can contemplate dramatic sunsets.
